Statutory Wills

A person who lacks mental capacity cannot usually make a Will. However, we can apply to the Court of Protection for a Will to be executed on their behalf. Before we can do this, a large quantity of information is required including, for example, a family tree and a schedule of the person’s income and expenditure. Applications can also be made to transfer or make gifts of the person’s assets.

This is a specialist area and we recommend that you contact us for further information. Our Court of Protection Solicitors are able to provide a free consultation over the phone. Please call us on 0844 800 9860 or request a call back through this website.
